eeeeeeeeeeeeee...eeeeeee.eeeeeeeeeeeeee.eeeeee..ee..eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..
-- This is the only sound that my ears hear.
WHOOOOOO!! Paramore was awesome! The lights and sound were fantastic. Although Hayley wasn't feeling well, singing with the "ASHLEE SIMPSON" nasal voice, it was still really goood.Oh my GOSH! I still cant believe I just saw them! So surreal..
The setlist was:
Misery Business
Emergency
Here We Go Again
Thats What You Get
For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic
crushcrushcrush
When It Rains
Let The Flames Begin
Whoa
Pressure
My Heart
Hmm, on one hand, I am glad that they ended off with My Heart and played emergency. On the other, I was really hoping for Born For This and Decoy. Anyways, their performance was really short, ahhh, stupid opening acts that were not so good, took so much precious time away from Paramore. Hayley was so so so good even though she was sick. OMGosh, the vocals were off the charts mate. Zac was a monster! He brings drumming to a whole new level! It was so sick! AHHH. and I love his luminious ear pieces! I really wanna go for the afternoon concert tomorrow, see if i can squeeze past security for the under 18 one. -- So so ironic.
Well, I wanna say thanks to Kim who accompanied me tonight, the best night of my life! Sorry for asking u to stand and queue for 2 hrs when we didn't even plan to stand 2nd row at the mosh. Actually, we were like 2 feet away from the stage, and if not for the ppl pushing behind, we would have stayed there for like 4 hrs straight. Anywho, we got pretty good standing positions on the steps, which allowed us to temporarily elevate ourselves over the tall ang-mohs. Hmm, I'm really mad at myself for getting such an oversized paramore shirt! ahh. so stupid.. and and was pretty upset all the merch they had was just t-shirts, i wanted some stickers or posters or like the flipflops. LOL. AAAAaaaaaaaa..... I wanna scream! Oh my, the concert! whooo! so good! whoo!
Really hope someone uploads excellent pictures. The ones I took with my lousy friend's camera was so very bad. Disgustingly bad.
Well, I'm kinda tired now, from all the jumping/head-banging/standing/crowd surfing and other crazy stunts. Having a headache from all the AWESOMENESS! seeya and I really hope paramore come to singapore with saosin, although I'll feel sick when others start to like them just because they think they are cool and wadever. urgh, anyhow, I'm sure I'll go rock out with celine. WHOO! PARAMORE.... i want more.....
stardust2 and paramore baby!

PARAMOREEEEEEEEEE in 2 days!! 2 Years of waiting! Performing songs from 2 cds. This CANNOT get any better. Caught up on my paramore news today. And OH holy mac, they are really getting so BIG.
1) #1 on TRL
2) "Hallelujah" rated 4.5/5 by Blender Magazine
3) Musical guest on Conan O'Brien
4) Under top 10 acts to look out for in Entertainment Weekly
And these are only a handful of achievements I've named. I am so proud, so very proud of them. My babies are growing up, getting all famous and stuff.... HAHAHa... But seriously, they looked so cute in their 2005 coming out acoustic performance. And now, they are performing to sold out concerts, audiences that scream out lyrics to their songs and vote tirelessly on MTV.
Haha, zhicong says I should get a job in their promo team and my resume would include giving constant and shamelesss giving paramore plugs on everything i do.
K enough of the P-plug. Watched Stardust again yesterday and I think its fair to say that this will become a classic fantasy movie. I didn't feel bored even though I knew what was going to happen. Infact, it was quite fun. I found out a lot of new things I didn' understand before. Like Septus tatoo was suppose to be a number 7 to represent him being the 7th son. Etc etc, still hated the mother character. No character development whatsoever and just so boring. Claire danes- great the 2nd time around. Charlie Cox not too bad 2nd time around. It was so funny watching with the OCF, on one hand, tee, shuks, jerica and charlotte were all in, screaming/laughing/squirming very loudly i must say, fully engaged while on my right, vicki leong was calm and collected, wow, i so cant do that. When the movie ended, lol, all the girls were all hyped up, haha and the guys were disgrunted, mumbling under their breath that they shld have gone for rush hr3 instead.
Anyways, gotta go hit the sack now, tomorrow's a long long day, have to go swim, collected camera from roy, go to library, meet with returnees committee. alrighty then, this is christine signing off at 2 am. TATA!
pain-ball

Paintball is 90% pain and 10% fun. I'm calling it pain-ball from now onwards. Gosh, I had this illusion that it would be so much fun, like a real-life CS scenario. Oo was I wrong, so very wrong..... everything was all honky dory until the instructor gave a demostration that shot me out of my illusion. The pellets hit the metal wall at 200miles/hr man, so not funny. PAh! Pah! Pah! at that moment, I gave carmen the ultimate crap-shit-what-the-heck-did-i-do-this-for face and she chuckled at my expression. True mark of a great friend huh, enjoying every squirm-y moment I had. Anyyways, there were 6 or 7 different terrains we had to complete. The first map was the scariest. My team decided to be campers and of course the ever so hum-ji me also camped. Ended up being surrounded by the opposing team, majority guys aiming at me. Result: Bruises on the head, back and full acknowledgment of my incompetence in aiming. My fav map was the last terrain where I managed to shoot Kenneth in the eye, of course he was wearing the mask, if not he would lost an eye and potentially die. Haha, I thought i missed the shot, but then kenneth came up and showed me the splat i made on his mask. Cool-io. That was fun, actually hitting someone. But of course, there were much more victims other than kenneth over the 6 hrs we were there. SPLAT attack!
Final verdict on pain-ball: As I quote from Ms Clarkson... NEVER AGAIN. No way in hell am I ever going to revisit that fear of pain and other myriad of emotions, bad ones i mean. There is a higher possibility of me eating celery of diff levels of raw-ness than me going for #2 painball session. But it was a good time spent with the girls. And sorry to Eunice for the friendly fire, hope the bruise on your leg isn't too bad. And props goes out to all soldiers that have been or currently in war, r-e-s-p-e-c-t mates. Functioning past the ever looming fear of being shot is a tremendous achievement. There's a reason why people change after being through war. Anyways, peace out everyone (no pun intended).

Lets all pack up and move this year
Slips the liars and disappear
Leave memories for auctionnaires
And those just standing still
They'll miss the taste of wanting you
Call out your name like I still do
But they never said a word thats true
And they only hold you down
And this heartbreak world
It doesn't matter
With their tired talk of better days
And dreams they had but can't remember
Come on lets make this dream that's barely half awake come true
Let's move out of Los Angeles
Just drive until this summer gives
And forget the lies we use to live
'cause we're gone
And this heartbreak world
Of just imagine
With its tired talk of better days
And this heartbreak world
Where nothing matters
Come on lets make this dream that's barely half awake come true
My current love is Matt Nathanson :) Oh man, I really want to watch Palo Alto, not only is taylor townsend is in it but the trailer loooks really yum. Plus, get the check out how good this raved young director is. I hope it gets released into NOVO cinemas, it really looks good.
Hmm, this week was really fun and eventful. On wednesday, 405 had another makan session, it was moi(porridge) night. The first batch of congee with salted and century egg was yum but the later batch of chao ta porridge was plain horrid. haha.. we were trying to dilute the charred taste with everything, like preserved olives/ pickles and tofu. OMgosh, im so jealous of tracy! She has WII and PSP. But not for long, soon yours truely will possess at least the PSP slim. Wii was so so so fun!! wheeee, the boxing game was so surreal and .. what a workout! That night, it was like entertainment central, everyone had a electronic gagget they were playing with. For once, yee seng's boardgames were no where to be seen. We ended off the night with a blistering cold walk to Carlton Gardens to carry lanterns and eat mooncake. Then proceeded to take some ridiculous shots in the dark, reviving William's camera again and again.
Then on the next day, I cant believe I woke up late for ISATs, apologies go out to xiao pei and daphne for waiting for me at flinders station. Anyways, i guess i screwed that up too, seems like I'm not going to monash meda anymore. AHHH, what is it that God wants me to do? Why can't He give me a clear answer, its always shrouded in mystery. bahh.
The day goes on with a nice lunch with jiayin, kim yii, siaw hui and van. We accompanied me grocery shopping for DIY sushi for ocf cg gathering at my place in the evening. SUshi was so fun! Thanks nick yap for helping me with it! 'K i did the accounts for the meal, and found out sushi is so very cheap! The total amt we spent was around 60 max, with 15 ppl, everyone had to pay only 3 bucks! oh my, so very cheap cheap..
Well... my holidays are coming to an end, have to prepare for EAP presentation for next wednesday and I'm currently rutting at square one. BTW, just wanna comments on the series that premiered this week.
1) Wasn't GREYS.A just plain magic? Loved how they tried to imitate being Bailey and bullying their interns and how Izzie, yet again, lands herself in an awkward case.
2)Smallville - oh man! they just need a great director. The actors and storyline are there, just need better writers and screen directors! and yay, chloe or lana didn't die...whee
3)Ugly Betty - still as great as usual
4)Gossip Girls - omg, that's like omg my fav. teen 'bim' drama. It was very gracious of them to make Kristen Bell the omniscient and invisible gossip girl.. xoxo
5)Heroes - oh man, i felt it was rather boring.. thought the levitating boy was cute though..haha
6)Damages - 'k although they didn't premiere this week, their new episode was so bleah.. get on with the real time drama already!
7)Prison Break - the 2nd episode was okay only. Really hated the idea of micheal having to break someone else from prison again. urgh.. BORING! someone kill the complany already.
8)House - haven;t seen it yet, tomorrow i shall edit this part tomorrow
9)How I Met Your Mother - AWE- friggin-SOME! The show just keeps getting funnier and wittier! Thoroughly enjoyed the enrique iglasieus joke. LOL! "You're bigger"...LOL!
10)Private Practice - Yes, this is the kate walsh aka ex. Addison Montgomery Shepard G.A spinoff. Man, this was so BAD! What was shonda rhimes was thinking! The script and everything was so plain and boring. Pls dont bother even watching it!
whooa, sheits, I have watched so many shows? anyways, just wanna take a moment to remember all the series that got the axe.
Peace out to Lorelai and Rory GILMORE, Miss teen-detective-thats-out-of-this-world Veronica Mars, The newport kiddies at the OC..
love love,
christine
